Sales Assistance: I have never bought anything online before, let alone an air conditioner! I was very nervous about parting with so much money however I felt very re-assured by Peter Bishop. My payment went through on Friday and I had my item the following Wednesday. I made a couple of calls to Peter throughout the whole process and was able to speak directly with him every time. Five Star customer service!! Saved around $600 on same item in local retail shops.

Comments General: You definitely need a more modern look to inspire confidence in potential purchasers. It's too visually busy - too many different fonts and colours and some graphics are too low res. Confusing secondary menu since some things are underlined and some highlighted. A little attention to consistency and usability would help - there are some glaring issues there - but it's not too bad overall. Main product page is way too wordy - keep it simple. And never never underline a non-hyperlink. (Sorry, I'm trying to be constructive here and this is what I do for a living so I just can't help myself!)

Your website *almost* stopped me, and I'm an avid online purchaser - it looked just a little dodgy (sorry!) but your great product prices and delivery quote and the testimonials changed my mind in the end.

This is Tony who ordered a Fisher and Paykel fridge to go to my sister at Bellbowrie. I have to tell you that it arrived today, as you promised, that the men installed the fridge and took the old one and the cartons away. The fridge fitted perfectly into the niche in the kitchen.

The surprise you helped me to set up was complete. I told her, as you suggested, to stay home for a courier! When the huge truck pulled up and the beautiful stainless steel fridge was rolled into place she was absolutely astounded and completely overwhelmed. When she phoned me, just after 2.00 o'clock, she was in tears (of delight). Your part in this, for me, has been a complete delight also. It's easy to navigate and I could find the products I wanted quickly.

Rob was really helpful, told me about a stainless steel range hood (which I had not noticed on the website and I preferred to the white one), and checked that my items were in stock so that I would know when they would be delivered. I have used other online stores and this was the BEST experience I have ever had with service and product advice.

Your driver phoned in the morning and was flexible enough to phone again 30 minutes before he was going to arrive at my home, and then he arrived on time. I really appreciated this courtesy. It enabled me to purchase online without taking time off work, which is just as important to me as buying at the best price.

04/08/2006 Hi Aaron, apologies for the delay in responding to you.  I am currently enjoying my plasma TV.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all of your efforts in resolving the problems that occurred with my order.  Your communication via the telephone and email was first class and I have started to inform my friends the benefits of dealing with your company.  Not only did I receive an excellent price but it was backed up with very good service.  My order was not an ideal purchase (initially) but you handled the problems with professionalism and sincerity which I am grateful for.  Now that I have my TV I am really pleased with the purchase.  Its unfortunate that Panasonic don't have the same customer service skills that you and The Electric Discounter display. 20/07/2006 I have never bought any big items over the internet before, and was quite nervous doing so. Reading that others have had a good experience doing this, spurred me on to buy this way. I am so glad I did so! Everything went well, even though the factory was late sending the fridge. I phoned the number on the internet site, and was reassured that all was well. We ordered our dishwasher at the beginning of the week and by Thursday evening it is delivered to Cairns and working well. We were contacted twice during those 4 days (once by yourselves and once by the delivery courier as promised). Absolutely fantastic!!. We purchased the 5 year warranty; does that come later with the receipt?
